The importance of conducting numerous prototype iterations and the effectiveness of using industrial design techniques, particularly industrial clay, to create and improve products with organic shapes.
Skills used
Sketching, prototyping, industrial clay modeling, laser cutting and Adobe photoshop.

The development process

Highlights of the development process of the current project.

Contextual research I

Contextual research was conducted in the form of benchmarking the current market for toys that serve different purposes and are made from a limited number of materials. This research aimed to gain an understanding of the market, potential, and to gain inspiration for the project.

Contextual research II

Additionally, mood boards were created to aid in visualizing the desired aesthetic and user experience with the product. A user persona was also utilized to ensure that the design meets the needs and interests of the target audience.

Life cycle and sustainability

The use of natural materials and easy repairability were considered to extend the toy's lifespan and reduce its environmental impact.
